ELFIE's Birthday - Learning to Fly.
DOGGY BLOGGY

Hi everyone! Or, I should say, a very sleepy “Woof”.
Much has happened since my last ‘Doggy Bloggy’. On August 1st, it was my Birthday. I am now five years old. To mark the occasion, my folks woke me up singing “Happy Birthday”. I can honestly say that I have not heard singing ‘quite like that’!! I was so shocked by the sound, all I could do was “Howl”. I’m not my best in the mornings, as you can see in the photo:
After my walk around our ‘Park’ at ELFIE’s PLACE, I had some treaties for breakfast, played with my squeaky toys with my PA, then went with my MA to the Groomer.
I remember the last time I had my hair cut, it was scary. I looked in the mirror, and all my curls had gone. What’s this? I thought. The worlds only Straight-Haired Poodle.
So, here’s my latest photo:
My Folks call it ‘The Cute Cut’.
On the way home, my MA did some shopping, mostly on things for me. In the afternoon, my Folks took me to the beach. I like to dig. Just to see what’s down there.
Because I do Dog Agility training and competitions, some of the commands are done by hand-signals (as well as voice). Here’s a photo of MA teaching me to ‘Fly’:
The word about my training spread to NASA Astronauts. Even they want to teach me to ‘Fly’:
After all this excitement, it was time to head for home. ELFIE’s PLACE. Please drop by sometime and stay awhile. I love to meet people, and puppies. Here’s our Web-site:
