TEN REASONS TO SPEND CHRISTMAS AT ELFIE’s PLACE ON SALT SPRING ISLAND.

1.) The food will be awesome

2.) The dogs will have fun

3.) No worries about drinking and driving

4.) You will have fun

5.) The cottage is so darn cute

6.) I am so darn cute

7.) Skinny dipping in your private hot tub while drinking hot toddies then rolling in the snow, (if we have any)

8.) Enjoying a private concert by Maestro Roy.

9.) Listening to moi, Caroling. You can join in if desired. (Bring earplugs).

10.) Wearing silly hats, engaging in silliness, eating trifle, being trifle.

HOT and…..COLD??

“Woof woof Wufff” to everyone. ELFIE the Superdog here.

WOW! This year is going really fast, even for us Puppies.

Sometimes I worry about my PA. He comes up with these ‘great ideas’!!!
We hope that you all know by now that we are well into our ‘Winter Rate’ for staying at ELFIE’s PLACE. 20% less than the Summer Rate, and NO increase for Christmas and New Year either.


OK! Here’s the ideas that my PA came up with. It was for advertising ELFIE’s PLACE. He said that we could offer two things that no one else has.

The first one is, that when people ask to book here at ELFIE’s PLACE (being Dog friendly), they ask if they could still come, even though they don’t have a Dog. So, he’ll say, “Sure you can come…..We can Rent you a Dog”.

Now, whoever heard of a ‘Rent-a-Dog’ service???

The second of his ‘most brilliant ideas’!!! is, that we have recently received a second Tub. This would be for the Cottage. (The other Hot Tub is by the Rental Suite at the House close by).

A friend of ours said, “Great! Now you have a His and Hers”. My PA said, “No. They’re Hot and Cold”. Now, I ask you, whoever heard of a ‘Cold Tub’??

So, now we can offer a, ‘Rent-a-Dog’ and a ‘Cold Tub’.

I hope he’s not serious!!
