A WAKE UP CALL
I’ve said in the past, about my PA coming up with ‘great ideas’ (like the Hot and ‘Cold’ Tub, and the ‘Rent-a-Dog’ service!!). Today, it was my MA’s turn to come up with a ‘great idea’.
Remember to: LAUGH, SMILE, DREAM.

Is it time to get up yet? YIKES!! It’s April already. I feel like I went into hibernation after Christmas, and just woke up. Just a minute, while I stretch……Ahh! That’s better.
“Woof woof Wufff” to everyone. ELFIE the Superdog here. Now, I’m awake.
I see that my MA and PA have been busy, getting ELFIE’s PLACE accommodation ready here on Salt Spring Island. The SUITE is just about finished. Some modifications over the Winter period.
So far this year, it’s been pretty quiet, although we have had People (and Puppies) stay in the COTTAGE.
Last week, one of my Buddies hitched a lift all the way from Ontario, just to check out ELFIE’s PLACE. His name is MAXWELL. Here he is (on the right of the picture)....

He arrived on April 6th and stayed for eight nights. The folks who were with him were really nice too. Their names were Diane and Tom. I nearly got hi-jacked when they were leaving. “Wooooffff” (meaning “Help”), I cried out to my folks.

OK! I'm back now. We had so much fun with Diane and Tom. I’ve a funny feeling these good people are going to be back soon.

I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. It looked like a big fishing net, then my PA strings it up a tree next to the driveway. Then my MA goes and sits in it. AND….she takes me with her. I haven’t been in one of these before. I’ve heard you humans call it a Hammock.
This is just too much fun.
Anyways, we’re getting booked up for the year. The SUITE and COTTAGE. Both have their own Decks, Hot Tubs, and Bar-B-Que, Decks, and self-contained Kitchens.
So, why not come round and see us. You’ll enjoy your stay. Great views, peaceful surroundings, and only eight minutes drive from Fulford Ferry.
